The 3rd Ashra of Ramadan Kareem 2024 is called the Ashara to free from Hellfire. The third Ramadan Kareem Ashra is also famous for the name of Days of Seeking Refuge. The Ramadan 3rd Ashra Dua is a very famous and most recitable Dua in the last 10 days of Ramadan.
The 3rd Ramadan Kareem Ashra has a lot of importance. These are the last 10 days of Ramadan Al Kareem. Ramadan Kareem month will finish after these ten days. In the last Ramadan Kareem (رمَضَان كريم) Ashra, there is a night Laylatul Qadr in which worship is better than 1000 months. This night can be searched in the 3rd Ashra of Ramadan. This night comes in the odd nights of the last Ramadan Kareem Ashra.
The 3rd and last ashra of Ramadan Mubarak is also important as this is the Ashra in which people do the aitkaf. This night’s reward is the highest among the rest of the days. Although the whole month of Ramadan Mubarak is a blessing, Allah has provided Muslims with a night in the last Ashra, a night of decree superior in virtue, and is better than the nights of a thousand months. Try to make happy your Lord on this night which is full of blessings till morning.
The last of Ramadan Kareem is also referred to as Nijaat, meaning ‘salvation.’ These are also known as the Days of Seeking Refuge. This is the time when Muslims asked Allah Almighty to keep away from Hell on judgment day.
On the last day of the blessed month, Ramadan is about seeking sanctuary from the fires of Hell. Fasting is a shield that protects a person who fasts in this holy month of Ramadan. The fasting is effective the same as any physical shield used in the war field.
The Beautiful Ramadan 3rd ashra dua for this part of the month is ‘O Almighty Allah, save me from the fire of Hell.’
Once again, we mentioned that These last ten days of Ramadan Mubarak month are very momentous as they are when Laylat al-Qadr takes place. Better to pray Ramadan 3rd Ashra Dua in these last days of the final Ashra.
The Laylatul Qadr has different names like Night of Power, Night of Destiny, and others names. It honors the night when the Holy book Qur’an Majeed was first revealed to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
There is no specific date for this holy night. The Holy Prophet PBUH did not mention a specific date for the Night of Power, He did say to “seek it in the odd-numbered nights of last 10 days of Ramadan Kareem.”
So this confirms that Laylat al-Qadr is believed to fall on one of the odd-numbered nights in the final ten days of Ramadan.
There are a lot of Duas which can be prayed on the last Ashra of Ramadan. The Ramadan 3rd Ashra Dua is very important in this specific period of time.
Like many more Ibadah in the last Ashra of Ramadan, many Muslims take part in the practice of Itikaf. Aitkaaf means staying in the mosque for the last Ashra of Ramadan and devoting themselves to secluded worship, away from the interference of all worldly matters.
